Just to be clear, the current S.E.X. amp is a stereo amp on one chassis, not a pair of monoblocks as earlier versions were.
The S.E.X. amp has gone through several versions over the last 13+ years, all of which were monoblocks until this most recent design. However, it is still intended as an inexpensive entry point for single ended sound (hence the Single-Ended eXperimenter's name), is still based around the 6DN7 dissimilar dual triode, and still makes about 2 watts per channel. I have every expectation that it will remain in the line, with design refinements every few years.
