You don't say if you have the Paramour or the Paramour IIs. Which do you have?

My manual for my Paramours (the first) mention wires on the power transformer but it was also delivered with an addendum, pink sheet, that addressed the transformer that came with the kit.

The Paramour II manual, software/CDR, doesn't mention trimming any power transformer leads.

Both the Paramour and Paramour II mention trimming the output transformer wires; as they are attached to the supplied transformers.

Somewhere herein might lie your confusion. If you have Paramour (ones) you might not have the pink sheet addendum.
