I've had the Large Advents, and grew up w/ AR3's in the house- I'd say you could build some Pi 2 speakers for around $200 that would sound better than both of these with the Paramours, and you could probably also use them for the SEX amp, but they may be a little marginal at ~95 dB efficiency. The AR's may have a little more detail, but nowhere near the dynamics.
