Cause for buzzz found. A dimmer is the devil...

No buzz today, but this evening it came back....

For some reason my capacative Voltage sensor showed low voltage at the preamp today, hhmmm? And high again when the buzz returned..

As the textbook says, it could be a light dimmer, and it was. The dimmer is on the other side of the wall inches away from the pre-amp. The voltage sensor peaks suddenly when the dimmer is turned on. A very helpful instrument...

Still need better shielding ... but at least I know what is happening.
Is there any method to shield or dampen dimmers eletromagnetic noise/field?

Best regards
Balle
