I went back and double-checked the input resistance on the BK frequency counter.

The high frequency range has an input resistance of 1 megohm.
The VHF frequency range (which I currently have no use for) has an input resistance of 50 ohm.

Both input connections to this unit are BNC connectors. This is the unit that does not seem to read the lower scales of my EICO generator; which my scope seems to read just fine.

I'll play around some more with it over the weekend. I've found that the source of these issues is almost always operator error.
