I've used Chu Moy's modified version of the Linkwitz circuit with other projects:

After some experimenting I've come to the conclusion that crossfeed circuits don't work for my personal tastes. Chu's circuit is simple enough to build and Tangentsoft even has a board you can purchase for $5 and populate:
