I need advise on building an outboard souce selector switch for my Foreplay

I would like to build an outboard source selector switch for my Foreplay. I have 2 reasons, with the addition of a Nintendo Wii at Christmas time, I'm way overloaded on souces vs. inputs, and my kids (4 and 6 years old) will be changing between souces, and I don't want them to get burned by the tubes. I would like to purchase a box of some sort, add RCA's for 4 inputs and 1 output, and remotely locate it where they can safely access it. Is it as easy as combiining the grounds to one point, and splitting the signal wire through a switch pot like the one on my Foreplay? Can someone recommend a switch pot? Will Doc sell me one? I welcome any advise, suggestions, plans, kits, or whatever.
