So with all the talk of rain, flooding etc, what is salvagable if unfortunately your amps etc are submerged? I presume wiring, resistors and caps would be ok but transformers?.

Actually, one of my favourite memories of going to Seattle nine years ago was listening to the weather forecast for the day in Port Townsend. A lot of wind and fog / rain / snow / slush. Just another wonderful December day in Washington.
