My experience with subs is limited. IMHO if you want a really fast and capable sub you're going to build a big box with a pro driver in it. Think JBL and at least $300 for the driver (try the JBL Heritage Site). On the other hand if you wnat a really decent sub, go with the ones I mentioned. Here is the only thing I know for sure: Washington makes good Merlot, Oregon makes good Pinot and for Subs Big Pro is the Way to Go.
