I posted this before, but I've picked up two of these and I think they sound great, especially for the price. Right now on sale, AND includes free shipping - how can you beat it? Aonther nice thing is that they go up to 180hz, which means that when you decide to graduate from boxed speakers and experiment with the bliss of open baffles, these are going to be able to support your efforts pretty well. One last thing (no, I don't work for Parts Express), mine came from Ohio to Oklahoma in 2 days. YMMV. For this price, I could not afford to build them. By the way, I have build a sub with the Shriva in about a 8 cu ft box, 250w plate amp, ported. It sounded boomy to me, hard to integrate. Don't know if that was the result of a down firing woofer and trying to use it crossed too high, but could be.
