My 2A3 and Paramounts are build that way. All the other post are right.
For me the single most important thing were the tube pins. I mess up on one side with the 300B. Careful marking of the pins is important for the driver and the opt tube.
Some wires will be longer from one side to the other. To my ears sonically it was fine. Do apply basic good wiring routing principles. Mine were checked by a more experience audio buddy.
On the first attempt with the 2A3 I recall using photoshop to flip the circuit diagram 180 degrees - i.e. on one diagram the words and numbers are unreadable ; but at least you know which pin is which. If I were to do it again I might consider printing the circuit diagram on clear acetate ( they use to call them overhead projector cells)and they look at both side for reference. Maybe that was my personal best tool and I did not have any problem with that first attempt.
Its not that hard - Just got to be aware that not all things flip 180 in the way we might think it should. Results are fun. Do realize that when you go to trouble shoot one amp looks slightly different also
Check 3 times and solder once : ) Good luck
