Toshiba CD player mods

I have modified a 3940 and a Samsung 4950. I did not perform the Vinnie opamp mods. I did things incrementally, and I found the power supply mods is what separated the Toshiba from just another player. The Swenson mod is the icing on the cake, but I would advise you to at least bake the cake before putting the icing on it.

Try the power supply mods followed by the 0.47 Auricap on the AC power supply mod. This latter mod eliminated all the background noise. Sounds come from a totally black background.

You already own a winner you just have to work it, but if you feel you just have to have another player ... go for it.
