I was hooked the first time I heard a 2A3 set. I had a pair of 300B amps at that time and liked them, but not enough to give up the Atma-Sphere amps I was using as my main amps. I flipped out when I first heard a 2A3, bought one, and just built my Paramounts which I intend to be the last amps I own. (I'm 60 now, so this time I may mean it). I think we all react differently to various parts of the playback chain. You just need to try other amps out and decide what does it for you.
