There are 4 cathode resistors in the two SRPP driver stages, currently 499 ohms. One thing I am thinking about is the effect of increasing them to about 680 ohms. This would increase the drive voltage available, but run the driver tubes at a lower current. Frankly, I don't know if that would be a good tradeoff or not, sonically. But if you are inclined to eXperiment and are getting some resistors anyhow, perhaps you would like to try it both ways and report to the forum?
