Foreplay II Transformer Replacement

I recently purchased a used Foreplay II and had luck with it for a while. The transformer had seen some abuse and eventually the secondary 125V connections became dislodged. I have purchased a Hammond 269AX 40VA, sec. 125-0-125, DC ma 100, Fil.#1(rectifier)--, Fil.#2(heater) 6.3v @ 2.0a to attempt replacement. I am not sure if this was the correct replacement or not and would like to know if this - - 262E6 18VA, sec. 120V, DC ma 87, Fil. (heater) 6.3V @ 1.2A, open frame type is the correct replacement.

Could someone please provide a little direction.
