Original SEX amps - 4 ohms

I have a pair of 8-or-9 year old SEX amps with the MagneQuest TFA-204 upgrade. I want use them with 4-ohm speakers.

Methinks all I need to do is disconnect the orange 9-ohm secondary wire and replace it with the brown 4-ohm, but thought I should ask permission, since I'm greener than you think.

There are answers to this question in the archive, but only for the newer versions of the SEX pair...
