Ferite beads instead of CC grid stopper resistors ?

Just wondering.... Instead of using the 220 ohm CC resistors as grid stoppers, would the small (1/4 X 1/8 inch) slip-on ferrite beads work well for this purpose? I suppose the main factor would be at what frequency the parasitic RF oscillations may occur w/o any grid "protection". These little beads work well at higher RF and VHF frequencies, and have little or no effect at lower MF / HF frequencies, and are of no consequence at audio frequencies.
