IMO this is still the best place to ask. Hope you don't mind Doc!
To make space in my tiny digs I got an Apple Cinema screen to replace both monitor and TV (a great little 11" (!) Hitachi (colour too!!!) I picked up for $10 from a Japanese student on his way home about 12 years ago)
I have a few VHS tapes I'd still like to watch and am wondering if anybody has recommendations for the best way to do that. Easier to convert them all or can I get a cheap "play through " sort of device? The guys at the local Apple store didn't seem to know anything about dinosaur technology.
My VCR has -
In from Antenna (coax)
VHF/UHF out to TV (coaxVideo - In and Out (both coax)
Audio - In and Out (both coax)Thanks very much for any help you can give.
Ian
