Looking at my FP-III, it appears that you could add a resistor of 6.19K ohms from pin 11 to pin 12, and take the output from pin 12 instead of 11. This would convert to a 21K control with one additional 3dB (louder) step.Anyone game to try it and report?
I'll try to do a 15K alternative another time. This would only be practical for a new (not yet built) control, and will take more effort on my part since the steps are not uniform at the bottom.
