I just registered at this forum. It is my pleasure to tell you that this weekend I finished my Apollo clones (see attachment). Up to now I heard about ten CDs with them. I was told that they require 200 hours to break in but I am already quite enthousiastic about the sound (without trying different positions etc, etc, ...).
I made the mounting on top of the BD-15 cabinet very rigid but adjustable. The wood is 38 mm solid birch. I will put more photos and information on my webpage in the near future.
