Prometheus as monitors?

I'm working on a new speaker setup for my room. It'll be at my so I'll be listening pretty nearfield. Due to the size of the room, the speakers will be pretty close to walls.

Looking at the Prometheus, the baffles aren't much bigger than the drivers themselves. I was wondering if there would be a way to set the baffles up in as monitors and then position the sub separately, or if there just wouldn't be enough space around them for optimal sound. Thanks in advance for any help.
