I recently completed a preamp project which is a combination of the Bentaudio TVC and Dave Davenport's Raleigh active stage( K&K Audio). It sounds very nice and has a full function remote. Hopefully, this will resolve any sensitivity issues as well. For those interested : http://www.raleighaudio.com/george.htm
