Re: Capacitor Bypassing

Two schools of thought on the bypass issue. If you are using something as good as the Jupiter it is probably not necessary but here they are:
1. Bypassing allows for better passage of the very high frequencies. Use a very good cap if you try this. Not very expensive to implement.
2. Bypassing with a smaller cap may induce time smear as the caps will have very different time constants.
Lots of folks use the bypass method so you may want to check it out for yourself.
