If there is no MAJOR reason to worry about the "flare" angle....why is there a reason to worry about the thickness of the baffles....I still want to build a more sub-stantial baffle....since 3/4" is not substantial enough (< and plywood CAN be improved upon >) ....to endure the passing of time....With that said...I'm having the most enjoyable listening experience...EVER....listening to my Prometheus, Air Force MK II's....after about 750+ hours....took half a lifetime for the tweet's/horns to break in....BUT...
OMG.....they are SO sweet now...even older recordings, (stuff I grew up with) sounds like I'm hearing it for the first time...in some cases, I ask myself...What was I thinking...or imbibing...when these were my favorite recordings...
New jazz recordings are MARVELOUS...and I can listen to them at LOW volumes....or etch glass with volume....and the quality is the same....
Nirvana might just be possible...I'm getting close here in the Rockies....
Dogs will be DAWGS...
