With a Klipsch holding the fort on the other channel, first impressions are surprisingly good. You immediately get that sense of the soundstage in the room rather than behind the room, that others have talked about. Not in your face though. A bit grainy in the top end, but this was already starting to recede with half an hour's playing. I am sure that a couple of hundred hours will see huge changes, but already I think I see the Dragonfly's basic character - and I like it.
Buying this was a bit of a leap of faith - have never heard any of the Bastani family. I think it's all going to turn out fine.
