Kit1 transformer temperature

Hi,

Mains transformer and choke in my Kit1 reach about 70 degrees Celsius after one hour or so of use. you cannot keep touching the surface of the IE core with fingers.

do you experience the same behavior? is this an issue or is designed to work in this situation for decades? I guess inside at winding level is much hotter...

I will measure and post the exact external temperature using a thermocouple
