Bill,
I did actually swap out all caps and both tubes in the power supply but it did not fix the problem - will double check all joints though. I replaced the caps in M2 with Mundorf Silver in Oil, Tubecaps and Tics. I was really surprised (shocked actually) at the improvement. Will let you know how it does.
