Hi,
I was told that Mario will be at Soundhounds on wednesday of this week.
As far as the arm upgrade that Lou fabricated, I have never heard the direct comparison between it and unmodded arm (or a Michell modded arm) but trust in everyone's A/B that Lou's arm is better than stock. That said, Lou I believe has a Mk2 version of this you may want to ask about. I haven't heard the Mk2 yet.
Speaking of Lou's mods, I have one of his power cords that has really upgraded my OTO (along with the Tele tubes). I know some people have written that aftermarket powercords do little for the OTO but my eperience says otherwise. Even a basic one like the Wireworld Stratus gave more detail and dynamics. Lou's MK2 cords presently have a cable that is not quite all-silver but close, and give a sound quality that is a huge leap above my Stratus. It's really good without getiing into super silly costs.
Sorry i didn't give you much data on present production tubes.
