If you read my "10 things I have done" post below you will see the results of modifying the way they do it (except for the V-Caps in the power supply). If you just want one built stock I would assume that the build quality is very good. I believe they offer a warranty. Whether you get it stock or modified it will sound great. Personally, I would recommend the V-Cap coupling cap upgrade at the very least. If you are concerned about the build quality perhaps they can email you a picture of the interior of one of their units.
