Hello Stephan,
I have built a few of the M3 linestages and even run them in my showroom. I have mine arranged for both balanced and single ended ussage.

The way to wire it is as mentioned in the manual. Start with wiring the balanced connectors as the manual states and then simply take the appropriate wires from the XLR connectors over to the RCA outputs and wire them as stated in the manual.

Mine has been running for some time now noise free.
