i did the same but used 150uF mundorfs. this value is too large i think, for the one before the choke at least, as my rectifier valve has started arcing sometimes when i switch the amp on. so i need to reduce it

i would be interested to hear from anyone who could measure if the mod in the post below makes any improvement (or can hear any)
