Hi Tony,
That is correct about the 47uF M-TubeCaps. Coming of a tube rectifier, the 47uF does an excellent job. You could probably go even lower at the first cap before the choke but I use them in both positions. I prefer poly film caps or high quality lytic caps in power supply applications whenever feasible. Going poly also provides a smoother and quieter presentation. Keep in mind these are simply personal preferences as many will prefer high quality lytics such as Black Gates in this position.
I have built quite a few of the AN Kit front end products for my customers and currently run our M3 Deluxe, M2 and DAC 2.1x Deluxe in my showroom all with the Mundorf power supply bypassed with Teflon caps. Every piece has been dead quite and the feedback has been exceptional.
If you can find a way to easily install them, even the 400V Solen 47uF-68uF capacitors would work nicely and save you quite a few bucks.
Either way, you will have a great sounding product.
