Measured output is 1.8V with a 1kHz sine wave. The manual states 1V but is incorrect. I have built a few of these now for my customers but have only tried it with our Audio Note Custom L2 & L3 preamps as well as a simple passive unit which also provided good results.

I don't suspect you would have any problems with teh arrangement you mentioned.
