I never post anything to say I disagree with anybody because I know very little and have very limited experience. But, I seem to find a problem with your line of thinking, *if* one assumes the silver wire is inferior to AN-V. This I do not know, but, if this is true, what is gone is gone in the input.
Ever heard of "GIGO" Garbage-in-garbage-out? The best transformers or caps wont recreate your input signal once it is messed up.
The same with the IC's. The golden rule I learned from Peter Q is to use the best IC near the source.
