I can only say that I have an old DAc 1.1 modded etc but some months ago I changed the AN-E to AN-V and the improvement was not subtle, as they say. It was nothing short of a huge difference instantly.
I would say if the other silver wire is easy to manufacture, go ahead and test it, but, at some point try the AN-V.
After all if you find it doesnt improve the sound, you can always make an AN-V IC with it. Compared to the total cost of the Kit1 and
*your expectations* of it, you will soon forget the price of the AN-V... I think Kit1 can get better and better, the more you put in it, the more you will get.
