DAC 1.2 Kit Fault - Help!

All,
I have recently bought a pre-owned 1.2 kit and it has been working fine for a few months however today it is not very well.
When I switch on the unit, the R channel seems to play fine but there is alot of crackling/buzzing on the L. After about 30 seconds, the loud crackling also appears on the R channel.
Have checked the DC voltages. Most seem fine but the ones to the Dig board are on the low side at +7.3V and -7.1V. On the board, TP1 = 4.65V, TP2 -4.80 and TP3 4.69V. Have not had the unit from new so don't know what they were before the fault appeared. All of the voltages seem stable over time.
The fault is the same whether using the AES/EBU or unbalanced input.
Anyone any ideas?
