Are the prices in US?I will save my pennies - when I get back from Japan and settles I will be opening the pocket book.
The J's bass depth and tightness is astounding - still not broken in but mops the floor with my Wharfedales which were built for Rock/bass with their 95db sensitivity 10inch woofers to 40hz. I ran my sound and vision test disc and outputing 25hz. The disc has sweeps starting at 4hz but skips frequencies - I could not feel the presence at 20hz but I have kept the volume low while being easy on the speaker for the first while.
Still 25hz is phenomenal for any speaker let alone a single woofer like this one. I have no doubt the E will hit 16hz and better. What is more impressive is how clean the bass is thus far. And at low volume levels - forget the idea you need a panel - it is full range at low low volume - usually you have to put the level up to get bass from almost all other boxed speakers I have ever heard.
And this without Audio Note ancillaries driving them :) man that will be fun.
