Thanks for the reply. I think your findings are constistant with the info I am getting at Audiogon. I have quite a thread going over there if you have an interest.

It seems no one really talks about the audio effects of the solder just if it is easy to solder etc. I am under the impression it is not considered much of a sound altering component such as wire etc...

If it was readily available I would probably buy Audio Note solder but do not know who to ask and do not want to bother Peter Q with a question like this.
