A simple upgrade to the PPL circuit of the AN DAC 1.1 or 1.2 (Phase Lock loop circuit on the digital board). The stock PLL circuit is a 1K resister (R38) and a .47uf cap (C35)in series to ground, that originates from pin 20 on the CS 8412 crystal chip. The upgrade is a direct replacement of components with a high quality 500 oHm resistor and a .22 cap. Once those have been replace, bypass both with a 3300pf cap, keep the component leads as short as possible.
This is a cheep upgrade resulting in better instrument separation, and crisper sound. I saw the upgrade on a previous post in the General digital drive, but I tried to perform a search on the thread but could not find it.Tom R
