Windy,
Yes, you need correct voltages coming out from the main
trans to all the components. Changing from 240VAC to 220VAC
is a simple process. Your kit1(most likely has a 031 type)
should be wired like the 240V of next paragraph. You have
to reconnect the wires to the second paragraph of 220V.240V– Connect the Black Mains Primary Wire to the NEUTRAL side of
the rocker switch. Connect the Orange and Yellow wires of the mains
transformer – Use heat shrink so that there is no exposed lead. Connect the Grey Wire from the Mains Primary to the LIVE side of the Rocker Switch.220V– Connect the Black Mains Primary Wire to the NEUTRAL side of
the rocker switch. Connect the Red and Yellow wires of the mains
transformer – Use heat shrink so that there is no exposed lead. Connect the Purple Wire from the Mains Primary to the LIVE side of the Rocker Switch.If you have problem, take a pic and send it to me, and
