Second Hand 10 year old Kit 1 Amplifier for £600

I recently bought Audio Note Kit1 Amp, the owner said he constructed himself and the amp is 10 years old.
I am little bit concerned about its age, it was bougt on Ebay Uk for £600
can some one give opinions on this please.
