when I ran my kit1 on Martin Logan sl3. I know it's not the same, in fact quite different! Sl3 are hybrid and present an electrically more funky load than your Quads.Anywho, the kit1 had enough volume under most circumstances and would play lighter music easily. Bombastic stuff may tax the amp too much, but it would sound great getting there!
The secret for me was Speltz Zero autoformers. Without them, the dropping impedance of the highs in the sl3 rolled off upper frequencies. With the Zeros set to double impedance, the balance was mostly restored without losing midbass weight.
You may need Zeros, you may not. I am confident the kit1 will work at least well with your speakers. It quite possibly could be nirvana.
Do you own the kit1 already?
