Now I am satisfied with the sound of the Lowther Academy speakers driven by Pass Son-of-Zen amplifier. However, I am planning to make a pair of Lowther Audiovector speakers, which need two power amplifiers. I heard that the Lowther speakers are best suited with tube amplifier. So I am thinking of buying a PQ signature kit one to test the Academy first. If it is ok, I will use the kit one to drive front driver (Lowther Ex3 or PM2A) of Audiovector and using the Son-of-Zen to drive the upper driver (Lowther EX4 or PM4A) latter. Would you expect the sound of kit one will be better than that of Pass Son-of-Zen for Lowther Academy? Any comment will be appreciated. Thanks.
