I found the cause of all the AN-V cross connectivity problems. I have been working on a wooden table for my Kit1 project and I just realised by accident really that the wooden table is conducting!!! Gee and I though that wood was supposed to be an insulator ... it must be the stain or resin used to treat the wood. So yes, the AN-V wire now appears to be working just fine. I'll solder it into the amp now and I'll tell you how much better the PQ is compared to the original Kit1 soon :))
