Hi Al,
I use Koetsu R/W Sig Platinum, Shelter 411 typeII phono trans thru
AN sig pre-amp and PQ sig plus. Koetsu's output is 0.3mv. I crank the
volume on the PQ to max and control with the pre. My speakers are only
85dB but I still have a lot of volume left. The sound is awesome. Switching to CD player, I don't have to adjust volume. But when using DAC kit1.1, its hooked up directly to PQ, by-passing pre. Then the
volume is controlled through PQ.
