The Big Secret of all the AN K / J and E models is matching.The units and the Filters will be matched to make a perfect couple. That's why the AN build speakers sounds sig. better.
I'm told the units with to much tolorance are used for the speaker kits. But, i think the kit speakers are really good for the money you pay for it. If you want better, simply ad some more money and buy a pair off the AN build with that great finisch.
