Thanks for your reply. I should update my profile. I do have Snell J II's now. There are some other details. I recently picked up a Thorens 160 Super with a Linn basik arm and K9 cartridge. I cleaned it up and set the suspension. The TT2 is so much better in everyway except for the bass drive. My older Systemdek had that good sense of timing and bass drive, so i was a bit shocked that the TT2 was being beaten by the Thorens in that aspect, and it is a very important aspect for me. I also mounted the AN arm on the Thorens as well and the bass drive and good sense of timing remained, so it is definitely the table that is lacking. I think I will try raising and lowering the suspension a bit and taking off the rubber feet and trying bearings and cones and see what happens.
