Thanks rdw_audiofossil for taking the time to post this review. I also bought one of these on eBay (together with the 'Solo' MC pre-pre) but I haven't had a chance to connect it up yet.

I heard that the weak link was some of the capacitors and other components which could be swapped for higher quality components. Do you have any comment on this?
