Amp/Preamp Asylum

Question to some of the more experienced audiophiles what is the following tube amplifiers configurations:

Pentode or Triode or SET.

Unison Research has the S6 SET amplifier that runs with 6 EL 34 and is pure class A SET. Is this true and what difference would I notice.

Any information and advice would be greatly appreciated have a great holiday everyone.
