I just got word from Dr Steven Leigh of Phoenix Gold who said that AudioSource will not be releasing the Tripath amps because the design does not pass FCC for radiated emissions, and the Taiwanese vendor will not, nor are able to change the design to accomodate this. In the ZR amps, I believe the cooling tunnel doubles as RFI insulation. However, I have removed mine, and there are no RFI problems of any kind.
